The historic centre of the village is being considered as a conservation area. Lichfield District Council submitted a report to the Overview and Scrutiny Meeting on 12th November and the proposals were well supported. A report went to Cabinet on the 4th December and then Council on the 18th December. We have subsequently been notified that the Conservation Area has been designated. Residents within the Conservation Area will receive a letter from LDC to confirm this and outline the implications.
